What is Fostering?
Fostering is when a kind person offers to give a homeless dog a temporary home while they wait to be adopted. We cannot accept new dogs if we do not have a foster home available for them. A foster home is the first place a new rescued dog will go, meaning that they might not have been able to get to our veterinary clinic first. Fosters must be able to take their foster dogs to their veterinary appointments, but we will communicate availability when scheduling appointments.
What is Foster-to-Adopt?
This means that you can always adopt your foster dog. As a matter of fact, you would have priority in adopting your foster dog over any other person who would want to adopt.
Benefits of Foster-to-Adopt
The El Paso Pug Rescue will cover all veterinary costs for our foster dogs before you adopt them!
Plus, you'll get to know your foster dog first before committing to adoption, and figure out if your foster dog is a good fit for your home.
