Pug-O-Ween 2021
You are cordially invited to EPPR's 7th Annual Halloween Party!
This event is free to attend, but it is a fundraiser for the El Paso Pug Rescue, so donations are welcome! 100% of the proceeds will go to EPPR.
There will be treats, games, free treat bags for every doggie, a raffle with MANY chances to win, and a BIG costume contest!
The costume competitions will have a $5 entry fee.
Costume categories are:
- Best Do-It-Yourself (Homemade) Costume
- Best Group/Couple Costume (humans are eligible to compete in this category)
- Funniest Costume
- Most Original Costume
- Best Costume (Just in case your Pug’s costume doesn’t fit into any other category!)
The event begins at 2PM. Costume contest begins at 4PM.
Raffle tickets are $3 each (or 2 for $5). We have some really exciting prize packages that we will be raffling this year!

PUGFEST!
Dogs on the Run Bakery will be hosting a fundraiser for the El Paso Pug Rescue: April 28th from 2-6PM at Gringo Theory (11410 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79936). They’ll have a screen-press with Pug designs to customize your own shirts! There will also be a doggie swimsuit contest open to ALL dog breeds! This is a family friendly event.

Pugs on the Patio 2018
Please come out and support the El Paso Pug Rescue! 🐶 Gringo Theory will donate a portion of their Slushy sales on September 29th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Homemade dog treats for all doggies in attendance.
We will host a small contest for the dogs. 🏆

1. Best outfit- let's see that fall sWAG!
2. Best trick
3. Fastest pug in a short pug race

Rahr and Sons at the Alamo Drafthouse
The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will be hosting a fundraiser for the El Paso Pug Rescue! They will holding a beer event featuring Fritz Rahr of Rahr and Sons Brewing Company. One of their most famous beers (to us anyway!) is the "Ugly Pug" Black Lager. As Pug fans, we are very excited to meet with the Rahr and Sons' owner, and get the scoop on the "Ugly Pug" name.
The Alamo Drafthouse will also be donating a large gift basket that we will be raffling at the end of the night. It has 10 ticket vouchers and lots of Alamo merchandise, so this is definitely a raffle you don't want to miss. Also, 100% of the donations will go to the El Paso Pug Rescue's medical fund, so there is no losing in this raffle since you will be helping a great cause!

Petco's Quarterly Mega Adoption Event
Come meet multiple adoption agencies in one place! There will be dozens of kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs for adoption in addition to in store discounts, Vetco Wellness Center, and the prize wheel!
The El Paso Pug Rescue will be there, so if you'd like to meet some of our pups, here is your chance!

This tour will consist of a two hour waking journey of Downtown El Paso. $15 per human. Dogs get a free treat!

Gunny's Fundraiser
We are asking for donations for an urgent, time-sensitive surgery for Gunny. Gunny is a 6 month old Bulldog puppy who is quickly losing his ability to walk. He has congenital kink in his spine. Gunny needs this surgery before his neurological damage becomes irreparable.
Every minute Gunny goes without surgery, the less likely the surgery will be able to save his leg function. This neurological surgery is very expensive because the veterinary surgeon will be operating on Gunny's spinal cord.

Shoe Drive
The El Paso Pug Rescue has teamed up with a group called Fund2Orgs to start a shoe drive. They will donation funds to the El Paso Pug Rescue for every pair of gently used shoes we receive.
This shoe drive help people in developing nations, so your donations will make a huge impact by helping both people and animals!
We can only accept new or gently used shoes.
Donations can be dropped off at any El Paso Petco location.

Howl-O-Ween Adoption Event
We have been invited by Petco and the City of El Paso Animal Services to participate in the Howl-O-Ween adoption event at Veteran's Park (5301 Salem Dr., El Paso, TX 79924) this Saturday. Other local rescues will be there too, so please invite anyone you know who is considering adding a rescued pet to their family!
This event will be on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. however we will only be there until noon.

Join us this Saturday from 5:00-8:00pm at the Punk Rock Flea Market at Montecillo (4935 N. Mesa, El Paso, TX 79912). Come out and meet Pepper, Ginny, and Sampson!
The Dames for Dogs rescue partners invited us to join them at their booth to show off our adoptable Pugs! (Thank you, ladies!)
Since Pugs don't do too well in the heat, we will only be there from 5:00-8:00pm.
